Adopt a tree

Help us save threatened tree species and establish the next generation of trees at Armadale. Through our Trees for the Future initiative we’re planting 140 conifers from around the world in the gardens over the next three years.

For £500 you can adopt one of these special trees, many of which are endangered in the wild. It’s a great way to show your support – or the perfect sustainable gift. We will place a dedication label on the tree and send you an adoption certificate with a photograph of your young tree and information about the species. All monies raised will go directly to supporting the Trees for the Future programme.

Memorial trees

A memorial tree in Armadale Castle Gardens is a lovely way to remember departed friends or family members. Trees bring pleasure to all who visit and provide a living legacy for future generations.

For £800 you will have the opportunity to select a tree from a list of suitable varieties. We will place a dedication label on the tree, send you a dedication certificate and  invite you to attend the tree planting. We can send photographs if you are unable to attend. Contact us to find out more

The Armadale Book of Remembrance

This beautiful book is hand made using traditional skills and materials and is prominently displayed in the Museum of the Isles. We can inscribe the book to commemorate a death of any other anniversary. The cost is from £100 per inscription. Contact us to enquire.

Museum bronze plaques

The Memorial Wall outside the museum is dedicated to the memory of loved ones and benefactors. We have a very limited number of spaces available for bronze plaques, starting at £7000. We can also arrange a dedication ceremony.  Contact us to enquire.
