The health and safety of our visitors and staff is our highest priority at this time. Armadale Castle, Gardens & Museum is open for business but to minimise the risk of infection we have put in place a range of additional measures.
- We have intensified cleanliness measures in all public areas, including regular disinfecting of door handles and reception desk surfaces. Museum audio guides are thoroughly disinfected before each use.
- Hand washing notices are in place in all WCs. WCs have disposable hand towels and air driers, and hand sanitiser is available.
- We also have a range of measures in place to minimise risk of infection among staff, including additional cleanliness procedures.
- In the Bar & Bistro a range of additional measures are in place in line with guidance for food and beverage preparation. Further information is set out on the Armadale Bar & Bistro Facebook page.
We ask all visitors to be mindful of the guidelines and priorities suggested by UK public health authorities. Please do not visit us if you are showing virus symptoms or have been in contact with someone at risk.
For information on how to protect yourself from the virus visit the NHS Inform website.
We may need to cancel events and activities at short notice. If you are making a special journey please check our website plan your visit page, Facebook or Twitter for updates.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation at this time.
