The annual meeting of the Friends of Armadale Castle, Gardens & Museum of the Isles will take place on Saturday, 16th June 2018. The meeting will start at 10.30am in the Somerled Rooms at the Castle. We are delighted that internationally acclaimed artist Julie Brook will be opening the meeting with a talk about her work. (Julie Brook’s sculpture, Rising Lines II, can be seen in the woodland gardens.) The talk will followed by short presentations and then a light buffet lunch when there will be the chance to meet staff and ask questions.
If you are not yet a Friend you are welcome to join on the day.
Friends may then like to attend the Princess Margaret of the Isles Memorial Prize for senior clarsach. This is a new competition open to adults aged 19 and over, which expands our portfolio of support for traditional music. The competition starts at 2pm in the Stables Restaurant and is free.
