Part-time Office Administrator

Salary £20,000 – £22,000 pro rata, depending on experience.

Armadale Castle, Gardens & Museum is seeking a part-time office administrator. We are looking for a highly organised individual with experience in committee administration, general office processes and Human Resources administration. This is a permanent, part time (0.5 FTE) role.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the office administrator will support the smooth running of our charity, Clan Donald Lands Trust. The post holder will act as minute secretary, which will cover meetings of the Board of Trustees, sub-committees and departmental meetings.

The post holder will support the charity’s HR function by maintaining a database of personal information, ensuring that all GDPR legislation is adhered to and dealing with the administration of contractual matters relating to employment and tenancy contracts. The administrator will be involved in recruitment, induction, health & safety, and staff training.

Experience of working in an office environment will be highly advantageous, as the role will also include covering for colleagues by answering the telephones, assistance with cash & banking, and dealing with accommodation bookings. The post holder may also be required to assist with social media and events.

To be considered for the role, you will have a sound knowledge of records management as well as a good understanding of GDPR. You will be proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office products, and must have a professional approach to confidential matters.
