Museum reopening 15 June

Posted on: 6th June 2022

We look forward to welcoming you

We are delighted to announce that we’re able to reopen our Museum earlier than anticipated.

From Wednesday 15 June the Museum will be open Wednesday – Sunday 9.30-5 (last entrance 4.30). We would like to thank everyone for their patience during the temporary closure. The remaining works are not expected to require further closure this season.

Why not come and pay us a visit? Experience the history of the Highlands & Islands through the epic story of Clan Donald and learn about the powerful Macdonald Lords of the Isles. See our displays of Viking, Jacobite and crofting artefacts; get close to fine jewellery, paintings, weaponry and more; and have fun in our kids activity area. We’re proud to be Skye’s only museum to be accredited by Museums Galleries Scotland.

Visit our Museum web page to see what’s inside. We look forward to welcoming you.
