We warmly welcome families at Armadale. There’s lots to enjoy in the Gardens, Museum, playpark and woodlands. We also run regular family activity sessions during the school holidays.

The main routes in the Gardens are pushchair friendly. At the ticket office you will be given a map showing accessible routes, or you can download the map here. We have baby changing facilities in the Museum and Cafe.

Kids can let off steam on our outdoor adventure playground, and there’s a picnic area there too. We have children’s trails and activities in the Museum. We regularly run family activities – check our Events pages to find out what’s on.

Please be aware that there are unfenced ponds and uneven surfaces in the Gardens so please supervise young children at all times.
