The Scottish Government has now announced a timetable for easing lockdown in coming weeks, subject to continued decrease in Coronavirus cases. In line with this, we’re pleased to share our own plans for safe re-opening. The health of our local community, visitors and staff is of the utmost importance to us, and we’ve been working hard on a range of new hygiene and distancing measures with guidance from bodies including Visit Scotland, Museums Galleries Scotland and UK Hospitality.
We’ll be gradually opening our holiday accommodation from 6 July, and online booking is open now. Our ambition is to open Armadale Castle, Gardens & Museum in early August, on limited days of the week and of course subject to the lifting of lockdown restrictions. Our new bistro is also planning to re-open then on limited days. We’ll share full details as soon as possible.
Meanwhile we are working hard to share our gardens and museum collections online. Follow us on social media for garden videos and museum object of the week posts, and download family activities from this website.
Please be aware that we continue to operate with reduced staff, many working remotely. If you need to contact us please use the following emails and be aware that there may be a delay in response during this time:

- Finance matters: accounts@armadalecastle.com

We very much look forward to welcoming you once again.
