Scottish Tree Festival

Start: Saturday 28 September, 9.30am - End: Friday 29 November 2019, 3.00pm

We’re delighted to be part of the Discover Scottish Gardens Scottish Tree Festival again this year.

Armadale Castle Gardens has a magnificent tree collection dating to the 19th century, with more recent additions nurtured from exotic seeds or planted in memory of loved ones. Strolling through our 40 acres of woodland garden you’ll experience the autumn colour of acers and red oak, get close to unusual specimens such as the ‘Candy Floss tree’ and ‘fossil tree’ and marvel at giants such as Sitka Spruce and Giant Redwood.

During the Tree Festival you can pick up a tree trail around the garden and have fun with tree-themed family activities in half term. Join us on 31 October for a guided tree tour and tree planting advice session with our Head Gardener.

All events are free with normal garden entrance.
