Scottish Summer Garden Festival

Start: Thursday 1 July, 10.00am - End: Sunday 15 August 2021, 5.00pm

Celebrate the beauty of our gardens in bloom this summer as we take part in the Scottish Summer Garden Festival. The festival is organised by Discover Scottish Gardens.

From 1 July: Family trail, Around the World at Armadale Castle. Pick up a free family garden trail to discover some of the exotic shrubs and trees that thrive here from all corners of the globe. See how many countries you can find represented in our gardens.

Tuesday 27 July: Guided tour – gardens in bloom, 2 – 3 pm. Join members of our gardens team on a walk around some of our summer highlights.  See our herbaceous border in full flower and find out how shrubs and trees from around the world are able to thrive in our sheltered climate. Free with normal entrance. Meet at ticket office.

Also happening this summer:

Monthly marketplace: Plants, crafts, gifts and food from local makers and producers. Outside the Stables on the second Saturday of the month. Find out more.

Family activities: Every Thursday in the school holidays have fun with creative activities, giant games, trails and more. Some activities need to be booked, others are drop in.
