Armadale Castle, Gardens & Museum is a 5 star visitor attraction which sits at the heart of a 20,000 acre estate in south Skye. The estate is managed by Clan Donald Lands Trust (CDLT), a Scottish Registered Charity.
Our Gatehouse serves as our ticket office and main shop, and is the first point of contact for visitors. We are looking for people who can offer those visitors a warm welcome, ensuring they have a positive experience even through the busy times.
The role includes greeting customers and selling tickets; greeting coach party arrivals; selling retail merchandise; ensuring the shop is attractively presented; and answering visitor enquiries about Armadale Castle and the local area. The role requires cash handling and use of tills, for which training will be provided.
